I wish I could accept your challenge however I am embarrassed to say I am not familiar enough with the Bible to do this. I know I read scripture out of the Bible years ago but have since not even picked it up until last week when Pastor Scott asked all of us to bring our Bibles to church on Sunday.
Please be patient with me, this is something totally out of my comfort zone, so its gonna take alittle getting used to.
I enjoyed last night and will continue to grow through your support and those in our group.
My favorite changes all the time. However, I think that I have learned the most from Eve. Despite living in Eden, she failed. She was created for the man that would later blame her for his shortcomings. In many ways all of our stories mirror the original female, Eve.
There is no need to be embarrassed about not being able to do this. We all have a starting point. :) Now is a great time to start studying. :) <3 you bunches.
Eve is the reason we have to suffer through childbirth so she is definitly not my fav. I like Abigail, wife of Nabal the best in the Bible. She is beautiful and intelligent and saved her family and servants from death. She was a strong woman who stood up and took action. She wasn't quiet and submissive to a wicked, bad tempered husband. She knew what was right and followed her faith before anything or anyone else. I admire her and relate as I was married to a man similar to the character of Nabal. I too, thank God was able to get away from him, but only can wish that I was as strong as Abigail during that time period.
Heather, Awesome choice. :) I love that Abigail married David, the man that she pleaded with not to kill her mean husband Nabal. David is one of my favorites. Ironically Bathsheba, David's 8th? wife is also one of my favorites too. :) Thanks for your thoughts on this!
Umm apparently the audio is a lil off with my mouth LOL ha.
