77Kids Wish-4-Snow

Five children plus a trip to the mall for clothes shopping tends to end in disaster. Usually, my two year old son tries to run off in the maze of clothing racks, while my daughter and older boys began howling about “Are we almost done, do I HAVE to try this on”, etc. One store that they (and me too) can actually look forward to going to is 77kids by American Eagle. There is a great selection for girls and boys from sizes 0-14. Finally, ONE STOP shopping for all of their clothing. What sets 77kids apart is their kid friendly store. There is an entire middle section of the store devoted to the kids where they can have fun. My son’s favorite part was seeing himself on the virtual makeover photo booths. The kids can try the clothing on without trying it on! Genius!!! Of course, the fun for the Moms and Dads is when you are at the cash register and you realize how much you were able to purchase on a limited budget. Oh, and having peace while shopping with five kids is also great!

I am also very impressed with 77kids commitment to local charitable causes. 77kids has a fun interactive storefront window display with two of their adorable logo birds skiing. The kids can push the buttons to start the race. The fun interactive storefront as pictured displays the local children’s hospitalo that your donation will be going towards. At the register a customer can make a donation of 77 cents or more and the snowflake will go on the “blizzard wall” in the store for everyone to see. In addition, the customer will receive a ‘you done good’ bumper sticker to take with them.

Rather shop online? No problem. On the Wish-4-Snow microsite, featuring a fun game of ‘cathch the snowflake’ visitors can design their own digital snowflake and help the cause! The overall goal is that 100,000 snowflakes will be made. You can make as many snowflakes as you want! You’re asked to submit your contact information only after the first snowflake. The 77kids goal for the microsite is 100,000 snowflakes. After reaching that goal, 77kids will donate an additional $25,000 on top of the customer donations each store collects to our local children’s hospitals!!

Creating a snowflake makes you eligible to win a $77 gift card from 77kids (one gift card given away daily!) and enters you to win the ultimate grand prize: an awesome block party for you and 77 pals!!
